Translation for spiritual & religious texts
We translate spiritual books. Then we show our work.
We translate spiritual and religious writing of every kind: books, study guides, courses, whole websites. You get a finished, expert-checked translation in weeks, at about a tenth of what agencies charge. And with it comes the SpiritualTranslations Assurance Report, a signed record anyone can verify, showing how the work was checked.

Every translation ships with its papers.
The choice
Two ways exist. We built a third.
The careful way
A specialist agency
Human translators, months of care, thousands of dollars per book. And at the end, one thing missing: any record you can check. Even the best agency asks you to take its word.
The cheap way
A generic AI tool
Pennies, minutes, and prose fluent enough to hide its own mistakes. Your tradition's central term rendered three ways in three paragraphs. Nobody checks. Nobody signs.
The third way
SpiritualTranslations
Machines carry the volume. Human experts rule where judgment is needed. And every delivery ships with the SpiritualTranslations Assurance Report — a signed record of how the work was checked, that anyone can verify. At about a tenth of the agency's price.
Anyone can run the AI — including you. What no tool gives you is a considered judgment that the translation is right for your tradition, and a name signed under it. That's what we sell.

What arrives when the work is done
The finished translation
A complete book, not raw machine output. It's tuned to your tradition's terminology, tested by multi-layer machine review, and refined by a human expert where it matters most. Delivered in weeks.
The Assurance Report
A signed quality report: one calibrated score, the process laid out, and the exact places where an expert stepped in. It's what lets you publish a book you can't read yourself, and do it with open eyes.
The SPT Assured seal
A small mark for your cover or catalog. It points back to the full report through a verification ID that anyone — a reader, a board member, a rights partner — can look up and confirm is genuine.

The line a publisher can print. Anyone can verify it.
Not just books.
The one boundary: we don't translate canonical scripture itself. A tradition's sacred text deserves a process, and a community mandate, beyond what we can offer today.
This is what accountability looks like.
The evidence so far
Tested blind. Judged publishable.
In our first formal evaluation, an independent expert translator reviewed our baseline output blind, with no idea which system produced which passage. The verdict: publishable-grade with light expert review, and roughly four passages in five needed no human correction at all. The remaining fifth is what our expert-review layer exists to catch.

The standing offer
The Benchmark
Somewhere on your shelf is a book you already paid to translate. Send us the original. We'll translate an excerpt — free — and you compare the two against your own standard, with your own readers. We don't need to see the version you paid for, and we don't need to be told the verdict. We're the only translation service that invites you to grade it against the one you already bought.
Take the BenchmarkExcerpt-sized and first-come while we're small. If demand outruns us, this page will say so.
The careful one
What you won't find on this site
Trust is our entire product, so the marketing is held to the same standard as the translations.
No invented logos.
We're new and we look it. Partners will appear here when they choose to be named, and not before.
No inflated numbers.
Every number we publish comes from a measurement we can show you, with its limits stated right next to it.
No borrowed trust.
Our track record is the verification registry, and it grows at the speed the work does.
No pretending machines are people.
Where a machine checked the work, we say so. Where a human did, we state the credentials.
Yes, it's the slow way to build a brand. We chose it on purpose.
Why we exist
Owned by a ministry. Priced for the mission.
SpiritualTranslations is wholly owned by WMOJ, a ministry. No outside investors; revenue funds more translation, for more traditions, in more languages. Pricing sits near cost and is published as rules — so an organization can translate twenty books where it once could afford one.
Which book do you wish existed in your language?
The Wish Ledger is our public list of the translations people are waiting for. Adding one costs nothing and promises nothing. It just makes the need visible, to us and to every publisher who visits.

We're early, and small on purpose: a handful of projects, taken on with care, while we measure the method in the open. The people who talk to us now will shape what this becomes. Bring your questions and your doubts. Or bring a book you already paid to translate and see how we compare.
